Plympton-Wyoming Council Highlights

The "no parking" signs will soon go up at Lamrecton Family Park in Plympton-Wyoming, advising motorists no overnight parking will be permitted from 11pm until 6am.

Staff has also been asked to draft an updated parking by-law covering the entire municipality.

Plympton-Wyoming council received an update on the cost of providing transit service to the Camlachie area.

CAO Carolyn Tripp says it's deemed to be cost prohibitive so they'll wait for a Lambton County report on rural transit services.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
