Fitness Studio Abruptly Closes

Agoya Fitness Studio has abruptly closed after five years in business.

A couple of notices to the public have been posted to the studio's door at 1315 Michigan Ave.

A letter from Agoya says they regret to inform members and clients of the studio's permanent closure.

It goes on to say that all classes and access to the studio ceased Tuesday because the business was no longer financially viable.

Another letter says Agoya's tenancy has been terminated by it's landlord, Trailside Developments Inc., on the grounds that rent remain unpaid for more that fifteen days after the due date.

In an email response to Blackburn News, Agoya says clients and members will be contacted individually to discuss their memberships.
