No Injuries In Two-Vehicle Crash

Sarnia police, firefighters and EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash at Confederation and East streets just before 9am Wednesday.

A car jumped the curb, crashed through a residential chain link fence and snapped a guide wire to a hydro pole.

Constable John Sottosanti says no one was taken to hospital.

"No significant injuries occurred and no one was required to be transported to hospital," he says.

"The driver at fault was subsequently charged with fail to turn out to left to avoid collision."

Sottosanti says the scene was cleared fairly quickly.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
