Music In The Park Saturday

A unique new, family friendly music festival is on Saturday in Sarnia's Canatara Park.

Local business owner Richard Marhue says Music In The Park is a ten-hour concert that features seven up and coming acts playing a wide genre of music: everything from country and hip hop to blues and jazz.

It's a free-will fundraiser for Harmony for Youth.

"We'll be collecting onsite donations," says Marhue. "That's really how most of the donations are going to be coming through, from people coming to see the free concert and are hopefully generous in giving back to Harmony for Youth."

It runs from noon until 10pm and no alcohol will be sold.

Food vendors will be on site and there will be activities for the children.
