Ten Years Later - An Evening With Dan Edwards

"10 Years Later-An Evening with Dan Edwards" is on tonight at Sarnia's Imperial Theatre.

Edwards says the evening will feature a documentary screening about teen suicide and depression in the community. He says he'll take to the stage after the film to talk about his journey following a freak accident a decade ago that left him paralyzed.

"I'm going to be talking about that first couple years, it was a big adjustment period going from two feet to four wheels, its a big turnaround," says Edwards. "I didn't focus a lot on the mental health part of my recovery and it kind of caught up to me and I was depressed a bit, probably around that three year mark."

Tickets are $30 and available at the Imperial Theatre box office or through the Bluewater Health Foundation.

Edwards has been trying to raise $150,000 for the "Do It For Sarnia" campaign in support of mental health services and programs at Bluewater Health.
