28th Anniversary Of Morag Davies Murder

Thursday marked the 28th anniversary of one of the most puzzling murders in Sarnia’s history.

The body of Morag Davies was found in the bedroom of her Retlaw Dr. home on August 25, 1988.

The real estate agent had been stabbed several times and the murder weapon was never recovered.

The murder remains unsolved, but Sarnia police believe someone has information that could lead to the identification of the person responsible for Ms. Davies’ death.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
