UPDATE: Severe Thunderstorm Watch Ends

A severe thunderstorm watch has ended for Sarnia-Lambton.

Environment Canada previously reported that conditions were favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.

The watch was ended around 6:30pm.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce large hail, damaging winds and torrential rainfall.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
