Youth Struck By Vehicle

Lambton OPP are looking to speak with the driver of a pick-up after a child was struck in a Lambton Shores parking lot.

Police say it happened Sunday August 21, around 5pm at the Pinery Provincial Park.

Police responded after a youth, walking through the busy lot with a parent, began running between parked vehicles and into the path of an on-coming pick-up.

Police say the female driver stopped and offered assistance but was told by the parent that the child was okay and she could leave before police arrived.

Lambton OPP would now like to speak to the driver. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ontario Provincial Police.
