Sting Sign 16-Year-Old Brady Hinz

The Sarnia Sting have signed 2016 third round pick Brady Hinz to a standard player agreement and education package.

The 16-year-old Stratford native put up 32 points, including 18 goals, in 27 games with the Huron Perth Lakers Minor Midget AAA team last year.

In three games with the Jr. B Stratford Cullitons he dished out two assists.

"We’re happy to receive a commitment from Brady and his family and would like to welcome them to the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club," says Sting GM Nick Sinclair in a news release. "He’s a prospect that we think very highly of, and look forward to working with him on his development for years to come.”

He's expected to be in the lineup when the Sting travel to London Friday night, and host the Knights Saturday at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
