City police arrested three young offenders in connection with a break and enter in central Sarnia over the weekend. Officers were called to a home in the 500 block of Montcalm Ave. around 5pm Saturday. Police say thanks to the quick thinking and attention of a neighbour, officers were given a detailed description of the suspects and which direction they were heading. Three males, two aged 15 and the other 16, were arrested and charged with break and enter, mischief over $5000 and theft under $5000. Police say one of the 15-year-old boys is also charged with possession of a controlled substance. All three were released to their guardians on a promise to appear.
