The money is part of a $2.55-million investment at both the Sarnia and London Via Rail stations. Improvements include roof repairs, upgraded washrooms, repairs to masonry and doors, and relocation of wayside power panels. Work is already underway at the Green St. station.
The federal government allocated $34.4-million for several improvement projects in the 2016 budget.
