Conceptual Plans Unveiled For Shopping Centre

The majority owner of the London Road Shopping Centre has released renderings of a five-year, $10-million revitalization project.

Lucror Property Investments President Rob Dawson says it will be a combination of increased green space, more functional parking and stand alone buildings including hopefully Crabby Joe's.

"We have existing leases and great tenants in place and we're working with Crabby Joe's, the city and Goodwill Industries on options and alternatives on the site, and for years Crabby Joe's has wanted to have a patio," says Dawson.

Dawson says construction on a new 38,000 sq.ft Tepperman's will begin in late March or early April.

The space formerly occupied by Jack Doyles will be redeveloped and Dawson is in negotiations with other food providers interested in the location.

He also hopes to attract a financial institution to the plaza.
