Stolen Items Recovered In Pt. Edward

Sarnia police have recovered various items stolen from homes around the city.

On September 7, The COPPS Unit executed a search warrant in Pt. Edward and recovered items including a bicycle, lawn mower, and tools.

Police say some of the rightful owners have been located but some of the property remains at police headquarters.

Two Pt. Edward men, aged 33 and 57, are facing three counts each of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
