Barricaded Person Incident In Bright's Grove Ends Peacefully

Sarnia police say a situation involving a barricaded person at a home in a Bright's Grove neighbourhood was resolved peacefully over the noon hour.

Uniformed officers, the Criminal Investigations Branch and Emergency Response Team responded after a disturbance call was received around 10:15am Tuesday.

Residents were asked to avoid the area of Strathuron Ave. and John St.

Police say one male was taken into custody and the scene was cleared. Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
