Alton Farms To Host Grape Stomp

Alton Farms Estate Winery is hosting its first annual "Grape Stomp" Sunday September 25, at 5547 Aberarder Line in Plympton-Wyoming.

Anne Alton says it's a chance to share this year's grape harvest and support a good cause at the same time. $5 entry fees will be donated to the Bluewater Raptor Rehabilitation Centre.

"We'll have plastic lined barrels filled with grapes and stems," says Alton. "People will be stomping them and we'll measure how much juice they have after an amount of time. Whoever has the most juice will win a prize, obviously, wine."

The Grape Stomp and wine tasting runs from 2pm-6pm.
