The exercise is to involve responders and observers from various external local emergency response agencies and to test the effectiveness of Nova's Pipeline Emergency Response Plan.
The company says residents in the area may notice emergency vehicles.
The exercise will not impact pipeline operations.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
