Man Charged With Impaired Driving In Head-On Crash

Lambton OPP have charged a 19-year-old Plympton-Wyoming man with impaired driving in a head-on crash on October 6.

Police say it happened around 11:45pm on Egremont Rd. in Camlachie.

An investigation revealed a Dodge Caravan left the roadway, lost control and crossed into the path of an oncoming Honda Accord.

The passengers in the Accord suffered minor injuries.

As a result of the crash, the driver of the Caravan was arrested and charged with impaired driving, and having over 80 mg of alcohol in his blood.

He is set to appear in court October 31.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
