Sarnia Man Faces Trespassing, Drug Charges

A 50-year-old Sarnia man is in OPP custody after police allegedly found him trespassing in Point Edward.

Around 5am Tuesday, an officer on general patrol received a tip about a suspicious person at a commercial property.

The officer investigated and saw a suspicious male on a residential property in the area.

A suspect was arrested and charged with trespass by night. Police allege a subsequent search of the man revealed numerous narcotics, and it was determined he had lied about his identity.

Robert Bright faces four counts of possessing a narcotic, and public mischief.

Police say it's the third property-related arrest the OPP has made in the past two weeks in the village of Point Edward.
