United Way Campaign Surpasses $1-Million

The Sarnia Lambton United Way campaign is over the $1-million mark.

Executive Director Dave Brown says they've reached 53% of their $2-million goal.

Brown says week five of the fundraising effort will see a number of company campaigns kick off.

"We still have a lot of employee campaigns running their events this week," says Brown. "For example, Worley Parsons is having tricycle races and of course we're getting ready for the Locally Lambton Dinner which will take place Saturday, October 29th at the Lambton College Residence and Event Centre."

Tickets for the Locally Lambton Dinner are $45 each or two for $85.

They're available through the United Way office.
