Break-In Suspects Arrested In Point Edward

Two Sarnia men are facing charges after allegedly being found with break-in tools near a Point Edward business.

Around 1am Thursday, Lambton OPP say an officer on general patrol spotted two men in a commercial area.

Police allege a subsequent search of the men revealed tools typically used to perform break and enters.

As a result, 19-year-old Edward Brennan has been charged with possessing break-in instruments, and breach of probation. 26-year-old Devan Worley is charged with possessing break-in instruments, and failing to comply with recognizance.

OPP say Point Edward has fallen victim to several property related crimes in recent months. This is the sixth property related arrest made in the village over that span.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
