Suspicious Person Arrested

Lambton OPP arrested a 51-year-old Penetanguishene man on Wednesday, after a report of a suspicious person at a commercial business in Watford.

Police say it happened just after midnight at a property on Bond. St.

While officers were en route, police received information the suspect had fled in a pickup truck. They were able to get the licence plate number and locate the vehicle in Wyoming.

Kenneth George Arsenault is charged with driving while under suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, altering a plate, and failing to apply for a permit on becoming an owner.

He's scheduled to appear in Sarnia court December 9.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
