Calling All Shutterbugs!

You have until November 15 to submit your pictures to Lambton Wildlife's 2016 photo contest . Senior Park Naturalist Michael Kent says there are four categories: Lambton Flora, Lambton Fauna, landscapes or scenery and youth excellence. "You can only submit one photo per category and all must have been taken in the past two years," he says. "They must be submitted online as well." Prizes will be awarded and photos posted on the organization's website: www.lambtonwildlife.com

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
