Four Bicycles Reported Stolen In Point Edward

Lambton OPP are looking to recover and return four stolen bicycles back to their respective owners.

Around 1:30pm Sunday, officers responded to a property on Exmouth St. in Point Edward where four bikes were allegedly taken sometime between October 11 and October 14.

Police say they were stolen from a locked compound on the property, and have a total value of around $950.

The bicycles are described as:

  • 2016 26" Hang Ten bike, navy blue in colour, cruiser style men's bike, value at approximately $400
  • 2005 26" Arashi, black, 18-speed, men's mountain bike, valued at $150
  • 24" Schwinn, green in colour, 18-speed, women's mountain bike, valuing at $250
  • 1992 24" CCM, black, women's, 18 speed, mountain bike, valuing at $150
Anyone with information about these thefts is asked to call Lambton OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
