New Signs Unveiled At Germain Park

Two of Will Germain's grandchildren, Marie Nicolson and Ross Wise, were on hand for the unveiling of new signs at Germain Park Thursday afternoon.

The sign above the arbour leading into the park from East St. and the one located on East St. between the Strangway Centre and the fire hall have been replaced.

Marie Nicolson says her mothers dad would have been delighted to see them.

"42 years he was involved in the parks board and he just loved every minute of it." she said.

Sarnia's Communities in Bloom Committee fundraised approximately $10,000 for the projects and contracted local sign artist, Dave Beatty to design and install them.
