OPP Investigate Residential Break-In And Theft Of Car

Lambton OPP are investigating a significant residential break-in and theft of a vehicle.

Police say just before 1:30pm Monday, they responded to the 2300-block of Petrolia Line in St. Clair Township.

The victim indicated that overnight the front door lock had been cut and the entire residence ransacked. Items stolen include various pieces of jewellery, electronics and about $1,000 cash. A white, 4-door, 2006 Cadillac DTS was also stolen from the driveway.

The Ontario Provincial Police Forensic Identification Unit was called in to help with the investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
