Canine Officer Tracks Down Break-In Suspect

Police interrupted a break and enter in progress in Dawn-Euphemia Township late Tuesday afternoon.

Lambton OPP responded to the 6000-block of Bentpath Line around 5:45pm.

One suspect was arrested at the scene and the second was apprehended by a canine officer a couple of hours later.

Police allege the suspects had stolen flooring materials and were in possession of break-in instruments.

Charged with break and enter, possession of break-in tools, and possession of a weapon are 25-year-old Jordan Deleary and 42-year-old Carmen Snake, both of Moravian First Nation.  Snake is also charged with possession of a narcotic.

They're to appear in Sarnia Court December 12.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
