Suspect Sought In Attempted 'Kidnapping'

Sarnia police have now released the description of a suspect in the attempted theft of a goat from the Canatara Park animal farm.

Constable John Sottosanti says around 7:30pm Monday, November 7 officers responded to a complaint that someone was trying to take "Chase" the goat from the farm.

An officer found a small goat wandering around out of its pen with a yellow extension cord around its neck.

The police investigation has determined the suspect is a young teenage male between the age of 15 and 17. He's described as short, of medium build with short buzzed hair.

Police say he was wearing a green shirt and grey pants at the time and was seen leaving the area on a grey bike after being confronted.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
