City Police Looking For Variety Store Robber

Sarnia police have released a photo of an armed suspect in a variety store robbery last weekend.

Police say at around 7pm Saturday November 12, a person brandishing a handgun of some sort, entered a store in the 900-block of Wellington St.

The suspect was tall and thin, wearing a facial covering, sunglasses and gloves.

Police say the individual asked for money from the till and then fled in an unknown direction. No one was injured.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
