Deadline Looms For Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Registration

The Salvation Army is reminding residents that time is running out to register for a Christmas hamper.

Captain Nancy Braye says the deadline to register is Saturday November 26.

"We have one week left for our Christmas hamper registration, so all of those families and individuals who will need assistance during the Christmas season will need to apply in person this week at the Salvation Army Thrift Store at 122 Christina St. in Sarnia from 9am until 3:30pm, " says Braye.

She says residents need to bring identification for all household members and an income statement with them.

Last year over 1,200 food hampers were handed out and toys were given to over 600 children.

Hampers will be distributed December 17, 19 and 20.
