UPDATE: Sarnia Police To Re-Enact Fatal Collision

Sarnia police say a section of Lakeshore Rd. in the area of Mike Weir Park will be closed again Tuesday evening as the investigation continues into a fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision Monday night.

Around 7pm, a 22-year-old man was struck by a vehicle and was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.

Lakeshore Rd. between Lewis Lane and Brigden Rd. reopened early Tuesday afternoon but will be closed again at about 6pm until 8pm Tuesday night.

Constable John Sottosanti says members of the city police service and the Forensic Identification Branch will re-enact the collision.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
