Sarnia Man Charged After Crash

A 26-year-old Sarnia man is in OPP custody following a single-vehicle collision in the Strathroy area earlier this month.

Police say a black GMC pickup truck crashed on Egremont Rd. just after 7am November 4.

It's alleged the driver fled the scene but was apprehended a short time later with assistance from the OPP's Canine Unit.

As a result of the investigation, Cody Price is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, failing to comply with recognizance, and four counts of failing to comply with a probation order. He has also been charged with being in possession of methamphetamine.

He is being held in custody and will answer to the charges in London court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
