UPDATE: Two Injured In Head-On Crash

Charges are pending following a head-on crash this morning on Waterworks Rd.

Sarnia police Constable John Sottosanti says a pickup truck collided with a car shortly after 7:30am Wednesday morning.

"A truck travelling northbound and a vehicle travelling southbound on Waterworks Rd. between London Line and Confederation came into contact on the roadway," says Sottosanti. "Both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries."

The road was closed for about four hours while members of the traffic unit investigated. It reopened around 11:30am.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
