Charges Laid Following Head-On Crash

Sarnia police have charged one of the drivers in Wednesday morning's head-on crash on Waterworks Rd.

Police say the driver of a northbound pick-up truck, a 51-year-old woman, has been charged with careless driving.

The pick-up collided with a southbound car, south of London Line around 7:40am.

Both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and have since been released.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
