Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

The 36th annual Sarnia Kinsmen Santa Claus parade is Saturday.

Thousands will line Christina St. for the procession from Exmouth St. to Wellington St. that begins at 6pm.

Spokesperson Bob Marks promises it will be one of the best ever.

"We have a total of 43 entries, there's three American bands and two local bands," says Marks "We've got the Colts drumline again, there's two from Rochester Michigan and the Port Huron Northern Band."

This year the carpenters union built a new sleigh for Santa behind a full team of reindeer. It'll be set up on a donated flatbed trailer.

There are also Santa Claus parades in Watford Saturday at 10am and in Petrolia at 2pm.
