UPDATE: All Clear Given After Water Line Break

Police have given the all clear after responding to a broken pipeline on Vidal St. S in Sarnia.

The Sarnia Police Service issued a Code 5 on Tuesday around 7pm, saying the pipeline was causing unknown contents to bubble out of the ground at 1832 Vidal St. S.

Shortly after the alert was issued, a water line break was reported between Praxair and Suncor, and a water sampling was conducted. Sandbags were also used a precaution.

The all clear issued for the Code 5 just after 8pm.
