On Saturday afternoon, Bluewater Power reported an unplanned outage in Cardiff and Overlea. Crews were dispatched and it took them several hours to remedy the problem.
Power was restored to all affected customers by 5pm. Bluewater Power said in a tweet that a blown transformer caused the outage and it has since been replaced.
