Busiest Day Of The Year For Canada Post

Monday is expected to be the busiest day of the year for Canada Post.

With about 80% of Canadians doing their Christmas shopping online, the mail delivery service is poised to have another record breaking season.

Spokesperson Alice Lafferty says only Santa will deliver more than Canada Post.

"E-commerce has grown tremendously and this year we are going to have 26 days this holiday season with over 1-million parcels arriving at Canada Post to be delivered across the country, that's huge, that's 7-million more than we had last year," says Lafferty.

She says if you have packages to send outside the country be sure to have them in the mail by today.

Within Sarnia you can mail your letters and packages right up until December 22.
