A 20-year-old St. Clair Township man has been charged with stunt driving after Lambton OPP clocked him travelling 130 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

Around 9:30pm Friday, police say they stopped a northbound 2016 Chevrolet Impala on Oil Heritage Rd. in Oil City.

The man had his driver’s licence suspended and his vehicle impounded for seven days. He will appear in a Sarnia court on January 13, 2017.

County council just recently reduced the speed limit on Oil Heritage Rd. through Oil City from 70 km/h to 50 km/h.
