Environment Canada ended the snowfall warning for Sarnia-Lambton early Monday morning. The Colorado low that brought heavy snow has moved east out of the area. Snowfall amounts can vary from between 15 to 20 cm. (6-8 in) Sarnia streets are bare to snow covered to track bare to slushy with slippery spots, especially at intersections. Secondary routes are snow covered and snow packed and slippery. The ploughs and sanders were were out much of the night Sunday and Monday morning. Hwy. 40 and Hwy. 402 are bare to track bare to snow covered, snow packed and slippery. The same holds true for Hwy. 21 north to Forest. Visibility can be fair at times. There are reports that several vehicles slid off area highways in the snowy conditions Sunday, but no serious injuries are reported.
