Final Push For Christmas Kettle Donations

Time is running out to make donations to the Salvation Army's Christmas Kettle campaign.

As of Friday, $83,000 in donations or nearly 70% of their $120,000 goal had been raised.

Captain Nancy Braye says they are well on their way to meeting their target.

"This last week right before Christmas is usually our biggest week and we're hoping to raise $37,000 in this one week to reach our goal of $120,000," says Braye.

Those looking to donate can do so until Christmas Eve at various red kettle locations throughout the community.

Donations support food bank and family service operations at the Salvation Army.
