Freezing Drizzle Advisory Ended-Cold-Road Conditions

The freezing drizzle advisory that was issued for Sarnia-Lambton Saturday afternoon has ended.

We're in for a cold day with temperatures falling to minus 9 / 16 this afternoon, dropping to minus 14 / 7 overnight and reaching only minus 8/ 18 Monday.

As of noon Sunday the MTO reports that Highway 402 is partly snow covered with bare and wet sections. Highway 40 is snow packed with bare and dry sections. 21 north is snow covered with partly snow covered and bare and dry sections.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
