Crossing Guard Receiving Treatment In London

A crossing guard struck by a vehicle last Wednesday morning has been transferred to a London hospital.

City police say the 76-year-old man remains in serious condition.

The Sarnia police Criminal Investigation Unit and Traffic Branch continue to investigate the incident, which happened around 8:50am at the intersection of Ontario St. and Talfourd St.

The 24-year-old male driver was not injured.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
