Olympic Calibre Hockey In Sarnia Monday Night

World class hockey comes to the Progressive Auto Sales Arena Monday evening when the Canadian and U.S. national women's hockey teams face off in an exhibition game at 7pm.

Canada has won the last four women's hockey Olympic gold medals, but the Americans have won seven of ten international meetings since the last games, including in the finals of this year's world championship and the Four Nations Cup.

The Canadian women beat the Americans 5-3 Saturday in Plymouth, Michigan in game one of the home-and-home exhibition series.

As of 6am, only 100 tickets were available for Monday's game in Sarnia.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
