UPDATE: Stabbing Investigation Closes Parkway

The Sarnia Police Service is investigating an early morning stabbing.

Constable John Sottosanti says officers were called around 3:30am Wednesday to a home in the 1700-block of St. Clair Pkwy. after a  53-year-old woman and a 16-year-old woman were both stabbed.

Sottosanti alleges that the suspect, a 22-year-old man, stabbed himself as well.

Police say all three parties, who are known to each other, were taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

St. Clair Pkwy. between Churchill Line and Lasalle Line was closed until around 10:30am. The criminal investigation and forensic identification branches continue to investigate.

Charges are pending.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
