Sarnia-Lambton has joined the over 543 cities worldwide where Uber is available.
Local resident Jeremy Swoboda became an Uber driver in October to make some extra money and as word gets around, he's only been getting busier.
"My wife and I were going through some hard times and I went on Google and searched how to make extra cash in Ontario and Uber popped up," says Swoboda.
He says he has received plenty of positive feedback from riders.
"The one good thing with Uber is they require newer vehicles to be on the road so a lot of people are happy that I'm driving a 2015 Dodge Caravan," says Swoboda.
He says when signing up on the free app, riders will still be searching London, Ontario.
You can get Uber to pick you up through the free app on your phone.
Swoboda says there are about four drivers now servicing the area.
