Man Faces Impaired Driving Charge In Hwy. 40 Crash

A man is facing impaired driving charges in a two-vehicle crash at Hwy. 40 and Hill St. in St. Clair Township December 29.

Lambton OPP, St. Clair Township firefighters and EMS responded to the scene just after 7:30pm.

An investigation determined a northbound vehicle was stopped on Hwy. 40 waiting to turn onto Hill St., when it was struck from behind.

A female driver and two children in the stopped vehicle sustained minor injuries.

Gregory Joshua Chambers, 30, of St. Clair Township is charged impaired driving causing bodily harm.

He's scheduled to appear in Sarnia court February 6.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
