No Foul Play Suspected In Discovery Of Dead Dog

The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says there does not appear to be any foul play in the death of a dog found in a field off Hwy. 21 between Brick Yard and Fisher Lines.

A Lambton Shores woman and her sister discovered mangled remains of a black Lab mix around 10am Thursday.

The humane society and OPP investigated and believe the dog was hit by a transport truck or a snow plow. Steps were taken to remove the animal from the scene.

Pet owners are on edge after the humane society issued a warning about a possible serial animal killer in London.
