Crime Stoppers Features 15-Year-Old City Murder

Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers is recognizing the 15th anniversary of an unsolved city murder.

Coordinator Amy Leggate says December 28, 2001, then 22-year-old Robert Raymond, was stabbed to death outside a Christina St. bar.

"He was stabbed in the parking lot of the Border Club, which was located at 494 Christina St. North in Sarnia," says Leggate. "A fight had broken out in the parking lot and when Raymond had tried to intervene he was fatally stabbed."

Leggate says there are no updates in the case but tips are still being sought.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
