Bluewater Health Reminds Us That Flu Season Is Still Ongoing

As the flu season gains strength Bluewater Health wants Sarnia-Lambton residents to know the actions they can take to prevent the flu and help avoid a visit to the Emergency Department.

BWH spokesperson Julia Oosterman says it's not too late to get the free flu shot. It takes very little time and this year's vaccine is a good match for the viruses circulating.

As flu season continues she urges people to stay away from visiting others in hospital if they have flu symptoms.

To help prevent the virus from spreading she advises people to cough into their sleeves and wash their hands frequently to help prevent the virus from spreading.
