Lambton OPP say at around 3:30pm, a car carrier transport was slowing for stopped traffic on the westbound 402 approach to the Blue Water Bridge, when it was struck from behind by another tractor trailer.
A 58-year-old driver from Brampton was taken to hospital for treatment and has been charged with careless driving.
The commercial truck lane was partially closed for about three hours while debris was cleared.
